Our Tennessee Crab Orchard Stone was chosen for the exterior walkways surrounding the newly constructed Tennessee State History Museum. Sawn Tennessee Gray Stone was chosen for it’s modern, clean appearance and was sandblasted to offer a lifetime slip resistant surface. The outside skirting of the walkway is lined with our Natural Surface Gray Stone which is much darker in color and dramatically textured, creating a beautiful contrast between the two.
The focal point of the entire landscape is a magnificent fountain built of Tennessee Crab Orchard Gray Stone. This fountain is crafted from carefully fabricated solid Gray Stone blocks forming the main walls. A two-tiered wall allows the stone to protrude over the edge contained by an elevated wall, while the basin itself is lined with thinner gray slabs. The entire hardscape is tastefully illuminated and absolutely spectacular at night. Admission is free and is a must see for all traveling to and through the Nashville area.

MKSK Studios designed this climbing wall out of our sawed veneer. The cap stone presented a challenging fabrication element referred to as a ramp and twist. Even the restroom building incorporated our beautiful sawed veneer.
MSA Architects designed a beautiful layout incorporating all 3 surfaces in their main buildings. The buildings have a rusticated base course with our natural cleft stone displaying rich, dark color tones. The remainder of the wall is laid with our sawed veneer with a split face rubble accents that gives the wall great depth and accents.
Other than the climbing wall, you will also find Silvara Stone on the Concert Stage, the 2 mirror-image community buildings and the pavilion tower.
